The contents of this CD-ROM are largely identical with the content found online at the site Answering Islam (http://answering-islam.org). It is the result of uncounted hours of mostly volunteer work (without doubt far more than 25,000 hours) of a team of dedicated Christian believers.

All content is copyrighted and belongs either to Answering Islam, or the person / organization mentioned in the copyright notice of an individual page.

Conditions for the further distribution of this CD

You may freely copy and distribute this CD under these conditions: (i) No changes are made in its content: No additions, subtractions or alterations of any kind, and (ii) you are not selling them for profit but give them away free of charge. (Only those copies of the Answering Islam CD-ROM that were produced for sale by us or our authorized distributors may be sold.) The permission to copy and distribute holds particularly for those countries where freedom of expression is not a legal right and such a CD would likely be confiscated by the authorities if sent by mail.

Furthermore, you may share individual articles with other people either by printing them out, or via email as long as it is free of charge, the content is not altered and the source (online webpage address) is mentioned.

This CD is made available at a low price, because it is important to us, that is may be distributed as widely as possible.

However, buying the CD will support our ongoing work on the site, developing and expanding Answering Islam further through original research and the transformation of existing documents into a format useful for the internet.

The New Materials page shows that the site is updated often and new material is added regularly. We intend to provide updated CDs about every four to six months, depending on demand. Periodically, we will provide updates to the CD-edition for download as zipfiles. Such updates are changes authorized by Answering Islam. If you make a full update following the online update instructions you have again permission to copy and distribute the new version according to the conditions mentioned above. This does not hold for partial updates, using only some of the zipfiles.
